Each time Maple approached, the older sibling would either shift away or refuse to engage, leaving her sister looking a little left out.

One particularly sweet moment shows the puppy scooting up to Daisy while she was asleep, carefully resting her head on her older sister’s body. Though Daisy didn’t seem thrilled at first, she tolerated it, marking what felt like a breakthrough.
