Dog Has Been Running the Same Way Since Puppy Days

Many dog parents notice that certain habits never seem to disappear with age. Even after growing from tiny puppies into fully grown dogs, your furry friend might keep the same little quirks that first made you fall in love with them. Whether it is the way they sleep, play, or greet you, those familiar traits tend to stick around for years. Now, a clip on Instagram shows that despite growing much bigger over time, one Bernese Mountain Dog’s playful run is still the same since his puppy days.

Dog’s cute run has not changed much since puppy days

The video, posted by @buyobear, shows Osso, a Bernese Mountain Dog with a very recognizable way of running. At the start of the clip, Osso is seen running around excitedly while his owner laughs behind the camera. His long ears flap wildly as he bounds forward with oversized jumps and an almost clumsy-looking enthusiasm.

Text added over the video jokingly says, “Mama why do you always laugh when I’m running?” The clip then cuts to footage of Osso as a much younger puppy sprinting along a beach. Despite the time that has passed, the similarities are impossible to miss. His floppy ears bounce the same way, his stride looks just as dramatic, and he still carries the same carefree expression across his face.

The on-screen text then answers the question with, “because you still run the exact same way.” In the caption, the owner affectionately described Osso by writing, “Those ears, those giant leaps, that silly face: still the same carefree puppy.”

Meanwhile, the comments section was filled with affectionate reactions. One viewer wrote, “He is just a baby,” while another focused on the dog’s expression, commenting, “Them eyes, mom..pureee no lies.” Others simply appreciated the wholesome nature of the video, with one person writing, “The cuteness level is off the charts.”

Several viewers also connected with the larger idea behind the clip. “Somethings never change,” one comment read, referring to the dog’s unchanged personality. Another added, “This makes me so happy! Thanks for sharing.”
