Husky Almost Gives Up the Chase When Squirrel Appears Again

Pet parents have often witnessed their dogs taking on new missions almost every day. Things turn out interesting when the fur babies get invested in chasing small animals. In this case, it’s a squirrel. This Instagram video shows a Siberian Husky named Hachi getting busy catching a squirrel in the yard.

The canine becomes engrossed in the activity that he tries to fit into small spaces to catch it. Meanwhile, the tiny squirrel appears when Hachi is about to give up the chase. In the caption, the uploader mentions, “I almost caught him. ‘Almost.’”

Video shows Husky is a little too invested in chasing the yard squirrel

In a cute and funny dog video on Instagram, an owner captures their Husky, Hachi, deeply invested in “chasing the squirrel.” Through the on-screen text, it appears that the pooch has been engrossed in this mission for a long time. Hence, the uploader sarcastically mentions, “Part 2.”

The clip begins with Hachi trying to get into a small space between the yard’s boundary wall and a storage area. It appears he sees the squirrel there, but he soon leaves that location. The tiny rodent may have moved towards the other side. So, the fur baby follows it and looks at the corner of the small hut on the other side.

Hachi tries his best to check the corners. When he supposedly witnesses the squirrel returning to its original position, the dog runs into the tiny space. He somehow fits inside and stays there for a while. Unfortunately, the pooch cannot move very far forward because of the limited space. He gets out of there by walking backward. In the end, he looks at the owner and goes back to look for the squirrel.

Meanwhile, viewers have loved watching Hachi’s antics in the Husky squirrel video. A user commented, “How on earth he fits there with all of that fluff? very cute.” Another wrote, “Sweet gorgeous baby on duty.” Aside from lovely remarks, the clip has also garnered over 17K likes as of writing.
