Dogs Meet Their Newborn Baby Sister & Instantly Know They Need To Be Gentle

Nobody had to tell these two furry brothers to be careful, as the moment the dogs met their new baby sister, they seemed to work it out all by themselves. In a video shared by @huskyindia0, Nawab and Shehzade mostly sniff their tiny sibling, keep a close eye on her, and seem thoughtful about every step they take. By the time one of them settles down beside the baby, it already feels like they’ve decided she’s one of their own.

Video shows dogs being extra careful and gentle while meeting baby sister

The clip begins with Nawab standing outside a mosquito net while his little sister sleeps inside. The text on screen points out that both brothers seem to be calculating exactly where to place their paws so they don’t accidentally touch her. But the Husky clearly wants in. He circles the net until his dad unzips one corner and invites him through. As soon as he’s inside, Nawab takes his time. He lowers his head and gives his little sister the gentlest sniff.

Shehzade is already lying nearby with his face resting just inches from the baby’s quilt, keeping her company without getting in the way. Both brothers move slowly around the baby. Every time the dogs move closer, they seem to make sure there’s plenty of space around the baby first.

Then the baby squirms in her swaddle and one little hand slips out. Nawab notices immediately, leans over for another sweet sniff, and moments later both brothers inspect her little face together. Once the baby settles again, Shehzade climbs out of the net, but Nawab stays right where he is. He stretches out beside the baby and rests his face near her blanket, calm and completely still.

The video of the dogs and the baby has already collected more than 61,000 likes, with viewers filling the comments with heart emojis and one person writing, “Roohi got the bestest brothers.” It’s easy to see why the clip struck a chord. Watching two playful dogs suddenly become so careful around the newest member of the family has proven to be heartwarming for viewers.
