But it ends somewhere much better — in a home, with a family by his side and a comfortable place to sleep.

The video follows the journey of the creator’s promise to the shelter dog of giving him a safe space, from the moment rescuers first met the big white dog to the day he finally left the shelter for good. We fell in love with him at the shelter and promised to get him out.” Soon after, that promise turns into action, with Luke being led out of his kennel and the words, “We kept that promise! Let’s get out of here buddy!” appearing on screen.
