He is standing right next to the flowerbeds when he spots his mom recording. He just stops moving entirely, and it is like he believes that if he doesn’t move, he becomes invisible to the human eye. His owner has the camera rolling as she walks into the backyard and turns a corner. Hudson is mid-sniff in the dirt when he suddenly notices her. He freezes instantly. This breed is famous for being incredibly eager to please, but they also have a sneaky streak when they want to investigate something. He looks at her with a massive smile as if he is just greeting an old friend. He seems to be saying “Oh hi Mum.” It is the ultimate “who, me?” face.
He then gives the flowerbed a tiny glance before looking right back at her. He is definitely checking to see if she noticed him sniffing them earlier. The caption says “absolutely no naughty behaviour going on here.” And the internet is obsessed.

Even though he deals with some hip issues, he still has plenty of energy for mischief. His family has spent a lot of time worrying about his health lately. They even had to make some very tough decisions, but Hudson decided he wasn’t ready to go yet. He is determined to make it to his twelfth birthday in July. Seeing him trying to get away with garden crimes is honestly the best news.
