Rescue dog’s video shows what experiencing love for the first time feels like
This rescue dog named Kaia met two brothers in Puerto Escondido, Mexico, on December 3, 2024, while they were heading to a club, according to one of their previous videos. However, when the brothers came back, the pooch “was actually waiting” at their hostel gate. The brothers then “invited her into the hostel.” After being a “little timid,” the pup finally came in and spent a few days with the brothers. They even took Kaia to the vet to get her checked.
“During that time, a brother “joined 20+ WhatsApp and Facebook group chats that had to do with dog adoptions in Mexico,” and they “eventually found a family to adopt her.” However, “2 days before” the brothers were leaving “Puerto for Mexico City, the adopter family backed out.” As a result, the brothers had to “fly her to Mexico City” with them.
And it seems to have been the best decision ever. The recent video on @kaia.therescuepup shows how happy and excited the pup is now, as compared to before. Kaia seems to have “just discovered what being loved feels like,” as she is seen running around and enjoying the scenery in the new clip.
Even the parents are now joyous, as initially the pooch “never wagged and she never barked. Due to this, the owner “thought maybe she was sick or injured. Turns out she just didn’t know she was allowed to.” But days later, “her tail wags involuntarily 24/7, and when she’s hyper and happy, she makes d*mn sure you hear her,” the happy parent mentioned in the caption.
