Cactus, the rescue dog, was not keen on going to his babysitter’s home while his dad was away, per this video shared by @cactustherescue. He even goes into “panic mode” when he sees his “overnight bag come out.” The owner writes in the caption how the pooch “runs, hides, and somehow disappears like he knows exactly what’s coming.” The calming words of his dad, Michael Henry, also do not help. The furball even “makes one last dramatic escape attempt and hides all over again.”
But his behaviour changes instantly when he reaches the home of his uncle, who will look after him for a while. The moment Cactus gets in the house, he starts jumping around and happily explores the place with his uncle. And what’s hilarious is that Cactus is no longer sad when his dad is leaving, which leaves Henry amused. Even the owner mentions in the caption that the second the pooch “gets there he’s so happy” as with “his favorite blanket, the balcony, all the love and attention,” he ends up “living his absolute best life.”
