In the video, the cat sits inside a cardboard box like he is planning an ambush. Indy wanders over to Billie, waiting for something to come, and sure enough, he pops up and swats at her. It sends the Lab hopping backward before she circles right back for another round. And then they do it again, and again.

There is no drama in the video — just a dog and a cat enjoying a game they seem to have invented together. Indy does that funny dog shuffle every time Billie takes a swipe, and the latter stays inside in his box like a tiny orange ball of mischief. The pair looked totally in sync, which is usually the giveaway that animals are playing, not fighting — Indy keeps returning, which tells you she is into it. Meanwhile, Billie never leaves his cardboard fort, which might just be a sign that he is comfortable playing the prank in there, because cats often like games that involve hiding and pouncing.
