Chester is eight, and Chase is four, and they are the absolute cutest, looking hopeful by the door.
This breed is famous for having a bottomless stomach and very soft eyes. It makes saying no utterly impossible, and the dad-son duo’s morning just doesn’t start until the snacks are served.

The clip starts with the pair sitting patiently by the door. Then Mom calls Chase over first, who offers a perfect paw for the camera, and we see Chester is right behind him. He gets up and waits for his turn, and then offers his own paw immediately. They both get a “good boy” for their efforts. But then the drama starts.
Mom decides to break one snack in half, and both Golden Retrievers gasp at the sight of it. It’s a bold move. Mom gives each a piece. Chase practically inhales his portion. He is a typical four-year-old who has no patience. But Chester takes his time. He is the master of the slow chomp. You can see his little teeth are working hard, and mom can’t stop laughing at the sound.
