Even this golden pooch is fearful of one particular thing that is harmless in every way. Although she has overcome her fear, this video shows that despite this, the Golden Retriever “still has her moments.”
Owner says Golden Retriever used to fear the ‘stop sign’
It doesn’t take much for dogs to be freaked out by something. A strange noise or a weird-looking toy is more than enough to scare them away. Similarly, this Golden Retriever named Honey is scared of one particular thing, as shown in this TikTok video, which will leave everyone amused.
And no, it’s not a toy, a vehicle, or a person. It’s a stop sign. Yes, the “2 year old golden girl” has been scared of the sign for the longest time. However, in the clip, the mom revealed that she helped the pooch get “over her fear of going past this point almost a year ago.”
But despite this, “she still has her moments,” confessing in the reel that “every once in a while” her furry pal, “refuses to walk past this stop sign…,” showing how Honey does not walk any further beyond the sign that also includes an additional yellow sign that reads “Cross traffic does not stop.” Looking at the pup’s reaction, the mom says, “I’m pretty sure it’s a golden thing to be this stubborn lol.”
However, a moment later, the pooch turns around and finally crosses the familiar post, conquering her fear, much to her mom’s joy. Other than this small hiccup, the dog does enjoy her walks, as many clip on the Instagram handle, shows the Golden happily getting ready for the outdoors and sometimes even grabbing things like a pinwheel on the walk, as it is “Better than a stick.”
