A little snout appears at the very bottom, and it looks like a Pointer belonging to the neighbor. Bourkley tries to sniff and kiss whatever part of his friend he can reach. Then the digging starts.
The neighbor’s pup begins kicking up dirt from their side. And Bourkley jumps right in to help. Their paws are moving fast. They are working together in the dirt, and they keep pausing to check in with each other. Bourkley scampers low to the ground to get a better look. He even manages to lick his friend’s paw through the growing gap.
