Dog won’t climb onto the bed till tiny human helps him out
Jimmy, a Bernese Mountain Dog, is one smart pup. To get his spot on the bed, he fools his human pal by acting as if he can’t climb the bed and needs help from his buddy. The pup’s mischief was captured by the dog mom and uploaded on @jimmyandthecats for the world to see the award-worthy act of the pooch.
The clip shows Jimmy trying to climb the bed, with half his body on it and his paws on the ground. But instead of making an effort or using the step to climb the bed, the pooch waits for the little one to lift him as he likes his “humans to lift him on the bed.”
Looking at his posture, the mom asks her son to lift the pooch onto the bed, leaving Jimmy happy as his master plan to claim his spot worked. “The truth is, I like to pick my spot. So if my boy gets off to lift me, I get first choice,” revealed the pup in the caption.
And so does it happen. Soon after the boy lifts his fury pal onto the bed, Jimmy lies in the middle, successfully claiming his spot, much to his joy. “My legs? Broken. My spirit? Weak. My desire for the middle of the bed? Infinite,” the dog mom spoke for the pup in the caption.
Needless to say, the Berners’ move impressed everyone online as one person said, “Jimmy has master the assisted spot steal.” While many were smitten with the boy who helped the pup. An individual said, “Awwww the best helper.” Some called their bond “Beautiful!” and “Adorable.”
