Two pooches with a considerable age gap are sure to have different energies. Even this Corgi and puppy have very distinct behaviour, which leaves the dog mom laughing. While Corgi loves peace, the pup loves to create mayhem. But despite the differences, the two fur balls co-exist. And to show this, the paw parent uploaded a video of her Corgi and puppy to social media, which received a lot of affection, garnering more than 25K likes at the time of writing.
Corgi & Puppy Adorably Co-Exist Despite Different Energies
This Corgi, named Ruby, and a Golden Retriever pup, Hugo, have different energies. While one is looking for some me time, the other is always up for mischief. However, despite this, the pooch co-exists most adorably. The dog mom captured their district nature and uploaded the video on @maui_thegoldenpupandruby_thecorgi, which instantly drew a lot of attention.
As per the clip, Hugo the pup is always up for shenanigans, while Ruby is quite the opposite. For instance, while outside, the pup silently sneaks up on the Corgi and then freezes when caught, as he is “too scared to move.” However, seconds later, the pup is jumping around Ruby, who tolerates him for a few minutes before grabbing the pup.
And the mischief does not stop here. Hugo always lies near Ruby, much to her annoyance, and leaves her thinking, “Why he lays so close like I knew him.” Even when it’s playtime, the puppy ends up playing near the older dog, which the Corgi does not like. “She hates him disturbing her inner peace,” and often barks at the pup to stop playing near her. Despite the warnings, the pup “continues to ignore her order” and plays with the ball right next to her.
But it seems the pup’s charms work as Ruby is finally interested in playing with the little pooch at the end, which leaves the mom to conclude that “my senior corgi’s relationship with my puppy golden has been awkward.” However, despite having “different energy levels,” Ruby “happily co-exists with Hugo.”
No wonder their relationship was loved by many, as one follower mentioned, “I love their relationship,” while another commented, “AAAAA SO CUTE,” in the post.
