He is a “boingy boy” from San Diego, according to his Instagram bio. But he slows down when a lizard shows up. He just stands on a wooden ledge and watches. The lizard does not even run away. It just sits there. He is a Golden through and through, and the breed is known for being gentle.

One of the clips shows him sitting by some stairs. A bird is right in front of his nose, just inches away, and they are just having an intense stare-off. Most dog breeds would lunge immediately, but not him.
One commenter asked how the bird even trusts him that much. It truly is wild. Then he follows a bee in the grass. He blinks once. He lets the bee decide where to go. “And he’s so gentle with all of them!,” his owner says. He is basically a biologist at heart.
He finds a snail on the concrete next. He gives it a long sniff. The snail just stops and lets him. Then a dragonfly lands on his human’s jacket sleeve. Summit is right there to inspect. He is so curious.
But the best part of the video is the Koi pond. He lies down on the edge. A fish comes up and actually kisses him. He retracts for a second, and then he goes right back to watching. “The kiss from the fish killed me,” a viewer wrote. It is honestly so cute.
