Video: Dog’s Reaction to a Stranger Knocking on the Door Is Unlike Anything You’ve Ever Seen

For most people, having a pet means having an automatic alarm system, but Maisey Moo has other plans for her afternoon. She’s a young English Cocker Spaniel living in New Zealand, and she is basically the opposite of a security professional. You can see her antics at @missmoosiebear. This pet cam video catches themoment a delivery guy walks up to the house. Most pets would be losing their minds. But when she hears a loud door knock, she doesn’t even move. She just lies there on her bed. Watching through the window. Waiting for the guy to just go away already.

Dog is too lazy to respond to a door knock in hilarious video

She keeps her head raised just enough to see out the glass. But she doesn’t make a single sound. It is actually impressive how much she does not care. She even blinks slowly while the guy is waiting for a response. English Cocker Spaniels are usually pretty alert. But she is clearly in “do not disturb” mode.

When the person finally walks away from the door, she just plops her head down. And she goes right back to sleep. She is probably dreaming of her picturesque walks. “If you are ever looking to hire a guard dog, I personally would not recommend myself,” her owner joked in the caption. She also mentioned that she’s better at making “nose art” on the windows than actually guarding anything.

Over 2,000 people have liked the video because the relatability is just too high. One viewer said this is exactly what humans do when there’s an unexpected knock and they aren’t dressed for guests.

People are obsessed with how she just sinks into the floor once the “danger” of social interaction is over. One dog account even commented that they need to learn how to chill that much. She is just a tired girl. And she knows that the package will still be there after her nap.
