Selective hearing is one thing that every pet pooch is a pro at. They will listen to their parents but choose to ignore them in favor of more distracting or rewarding things. Even this Husky is no different. Despite hearing what her mom is saying, she completely ignores her commands. The owner captured the dog’s act in a video and shared it on social media to show netizens the classic case of selective hearing.
Dog has no intention of listening to what owner has to say
Every pet parent will agree: furry pals hear only when they want to or if they want to. Even this Husky named Lia shows similar traits and chooses to ignore her mom in this funny video, which is uploaded on @huskybabylia.
The clip shows Lia looking out of the window, facing her back towards her mom, who calls out her name from the couch. But instead of turning to her, the 7-year-old furball chooses to ignore her mom and continues looking outside the window without any hesitation. And this does not happen once.
The mom repeatedly calls out the name of her beloved furry companions and asks her for kisses, but every time the pup “listens and decides to ignore” her mom’s call. If you are thinking, what if the pooch might not be able to hear her mom? Well, that’s certainly not the case. “You can clearly see how she moves her ears when I call her name,” the mom reveals in the caption.
However, after a lot of trials, the pooch finally acknowledges the parent call. But instead of running to her for kisses, she simply looks at her mom and then goes back to staring outside the window, hinting she is too busy as of now to fulfill her mom’s demands. Not once does the Husky move from her favorite place. Throughout the video, the dog preferred to look outside rather than hear her owner.
