There is literally no such thing as “sharing” when Artie and April are in the same room. These two are a mixed-breed duo from @aprilandartie who basically spend their days negotiating who gets the best stuff. A new video shows the dogs in a classic living room standoff involving a toy.
Artie is standing by a chair holding a prized toy, looking all innocent while staring his sister down. April is right in the middle of the floor, waiting for an opening. It is that “spicy girl boss” energy she is famous for. And things get physical pretty fast once she decides she’s had enough of the staring contest.

Artie tries to be slick by retreating into the hallway, but April is already two steps ahead of him. She already knows where he is going to appear from next. The camera then pans to show us the other corner of the room just as he peeks his head out. He still has a grip on the toy when they end up back at their original spot.
They start a tiny tug-of-war, and Artie manages to pull away. But April is not having it. She actually tries to chew on his hind legs to get him to drop it. This dog does not play fair when her favorite things are on the line.
This isn’t their first rodeo with gear-related drama. They actually had a whole multi-part series on their account about a broken tennis ball that caused just as much chaos. In the video, the struggle for the toy and dog drama moves onto the couch. Artie reverses a few steps to keep his prize, but April is right on his heels.
They both grab onto it at the same time, and it turns into a quick tug session. And then Artie tries to tackle her to get it back into the corner. Nearly 3,000 people have liked the post so far.
