Big Dog & Tiny Human Watch TV Together in Adorable Video

Forget what you know about giant guard dogs. Because the reality is usually just a lot of heavy snoring and space invasion. That is definitely the case over at @thebigdobermanjax. This 110lb Doberman has clearly forgotten his actual size. A recent video shows this big dog taking over the living room floor. He is having a serious cuddle session with his tiny best friend. It is just a very chill scene with the TV on. And honestly, it looks like the most comfortable spot in the house.

Big dog and tiny human cuddle endlessly while watching TV

The little girl is just hanging out on a floor cushion. But Jax isn’t about to let her watch shows alone. Her tiny hand is cradling his massive face. It’s wild because a Doberman is usually known for being an alert protector. But here he is being a sweet lap dog. He is lying flat on the carpet. “My 110lb Doberman thinks he’s a lap dog… and she’s perfectly okay with it,” his mom shared. She says nothing melts her faster than seeing them snuggle on the living room floor.

When the girl gets up halfway to see the TV better, Jax adjusts his head slightly. Then, when she flops back down, Jax just waits for her to settle. And then he gives her a few messy kisses.

Afterwards, he takes this opportunity to rest his entire head right across her belly. He’s using her as a pillow. She stays there, he stays there. And they both look totally content. In the video, you can hear Dad asking if the big dog is her puppy. She seems to think so. She just keeps right on cuddling him.

The clip has over a thousand likes. The comments are basically just heart eyes everywhere. One person joked that Jax was just a “baby” despite his size. But that’s the thing with this breed. They are incredibly devoted to their people. And they have no idea they weigh over a hundred pounds. But it doesn’t matter. His tiny best friend clearly doesn’t mind the extra weight.
