Golden Retriever Siblings Separated at Birth Reunite in Cute Video

Meeting a twin you haven’t seen since you were a tiny fluff ball is a big deal. That is exactly what happened when Myles met his sister Umi recently. Myles lives between NYC and East Hampton, but this meet-up was the clear highlight of his and his sister’s week.

Over at @mylesfrommaine, a new video shows these two Golden Retriever siblings getting back together after being apart since they were puppies. They start off a little shy, but once familiarity sets in, the playing does not stop.

Golden Retriever puppies can’t stop playing after they reunite

They spent their first few weeks in the same litter before going to their new homes. And seeing them recognize each other is pretty cool. They start by sniffing each other’s snouts. Then they both turn to look out the window at the exact same time. It is perfectly synced. It is hard to tell which puppy is which once they start moving. The humans in the room are just standing there watching the whole happy reunion happen.

And then the chaos really starts. They are chasing each other around the living room. There is a shot of them on a donut bed where things get rowdy. Umi is lying belly up, and Myles is just play-biting her snout. But she seems to like it.

In the next shot, they are tackling each other on the rug and rolling around. One of them even tries to sit on the other one. And then they just stop for a second to exchange a sweet sibling kiss.

“Now how to tell them apart??” one person asked in the comments. It is almost impossible, to be honest. “Pawrent trap,” the caption says, and that is just so cute. We learn that there were actually eight pups in the original litter. Another owner of one of the other siblings even commented, saying they should all get together.

This video of the Golden Retriever siblings has hundreds of likes because everyone is obsessed with the twin energy. Most dogs never see their first friends again, so this is special. Hopefully, they get to do it again before they get too big to fit on that donut bed together.
