Dogs will not compromise for anything less when it comes to getting comfortable at their favorite spot at home. Even this pet pooch makes sure nothing comes in his way when he is “getting comfortable” at his cozy place. And trust us, to make the place just as he likes, the pup goes through a five-step process before settling into his spot on the couch. No wonder the video of the dog getting comfy at home has received more than 3,000 likes at the time of writing.
Dog throws all the pillows off the couch before getting comfy
This Australian Shepherd named Barney loves one particular spot on the couch and makes sure nothing comes in his way when he lies down there.
And to show the pup’s struggle, the paw parents captured the five-step process of their dog in a video and uploaded it to @thebarnstable with the caption, “Watch what my Aussie does before getting comfortable.”
To start with, right after getting off the couch, the fur ball pushes the “pillow off.” He then gets “rid of the blanket,” before digging “at cushions.”
And no, the pooch does not stop here. Even after the mom says “no,” Barney digs at “other cushions” only to get rid of them immediately after to make space for his spot.
Once the pooch completes his steps by throwing “everything off”, the 2-year-old pup then “gets comfy” at one corner of the couch and makes sure to “get dad’s attention.”
Looking at the dog’s “steps” that he “takes before he gets comfy,” the viewers beeline in the comments section to support the pup’s actions. One person spoke for Barney, saying, “This is my couch is ruined and my blankets and pillows are on the floor.” While another pet lover commented, “He’s making a nest!”
Some of the dog owners revealed their fur babies also do the same, with one saying, “Glad to see ours isn’t the only one that pulls everything off the couch.” Another owner confessed, “Yup my Aussie does the exact same thing.”
