Video: Dog Slowly Moves Away From Owner After They Sneeze

Hanging out on the bed with a pet is usually the peak of the day until someone accidentally ruins the vibe. Poppy from @royalprincesspoppy was having a perfectly quiet moment with her mom before the ultimate betrayal happened. Most people say dogs never judge you. But that quote definitely doesn’t apply to Poppy because she “in fact do be judging”. In this video, as soon as her mom lets out a stray sneeze, the cozy vibes evaporate for the dog. She doesn’t just flinch. She treats her mom like a walking biohazard. And her expressions are priceless.

Dog has a hilarious reaction to sneezing in adorable video

The footage shows her leaning away so quickly that it takes a slow-motion replay to fully appreciate the shade. She gives her mom this full “where are your manners” side-eye that is honestly kind of legendary. Boxers have incredibly expressive, almost human-like faces. She uses every bit of that forehead wrinkle to show her absolute disgust. One viewer joked, “She was assaulted.” It really looks like she was offended by the very sound of a human nose.

Also, she does more than physically retreat. She actually gets up to sniff her mom like she’s trying to diagnose exactly what is wrong. Mom tries to apologize for the sneeze, but the dog in the video isn’t buying it for a second.

Then, she decides the only safe place is the other side of the bed. She plops down with her back turned, looking like a total drama queen. Her body language says, “I’m done,” while she totally ignores her mom’s questions.

One fan put it perfectly by saying she is “literally judging you AND looks cute doing it too.” Another person said her judgment level far surpasses that of a cat, which is saying a lot. Even when her mom calls her rude, Poppy just glances from the corner of her eye with a look that says, “You’re ruder.” As far as she is concerned, she needs to stay healthy and away from the germs.
