They bought the dog tiny snow boots, and they seemed like a good idea. Until they actually put them on. The video shows the exact moment Gill decided that his life as a mobile creature was officially over. He’s completely uninstalled his walking software.

The hallway has basically become a museum exhibit. If you didn’t see his ribs moving while he breathed, you’d swear this was a wax figure of a long-haired mini Dachshund. He is standing absolutely, 100% still. His tail is even frozen mid-wag, sticking straight out like a furry rudder. The in-video text just says, “We tried snow boots,” and the result was an “immediately no” from Gill.
He’s just staring straight ahead. Not even turning around to look at the camera. Nothing. One commenter joked that he looks like his “soul left his body.” And honestly, the drama is real. These little hounds are notoriously stubborn when they don’t like something. Especially if it involves their paws.
Gill is absolutely refusing to move until these foreign objects are gone from his body. One viewer pointed out that he’d be the undisputed winner of the 2016 mannequin challenge. And no doubts there. It’s “something suspicious is happening here” vibes for sure. His belly moves with the tiniest breaths since he’s being so cautious with breathing as well. It’s like he thinks any sudden movement might make the boots permanent.
