Video Shows ‘Snow Dog’ Not Entirely Pleased With the Snowfall

Anuko is making a very strong case for the “grumpy old man” club as he trudges through the latest Manchester snowfall. Over on the @huskyanuko page, this 12-year-old dog has gone viral for a video that shows him looking completely offended by all the snow around him. You would think a Husky would be in its element. Nevertheless, as he navigates the white-covered sidewalks of the UK, his face says he’d much rather be home with a heater. Even with the snow coming down thick, he keeps his pace slow and his glare even slower.

Husky is not too keen on walking during a snowfall in adorable video

When the video opens we see Anuko walking off-leash down a heavily snowed-in sidewalk. Thick flakes are falling all around him, yet he looks completely miserable. He slowly trudges toward his owner with a squint that suggests he is lodging a formal complaint.

The on-screen text of the video says, “POV: You have a snow dog who hates snow.” One viewer teased that he probably likes snow in theory, preferably from inside a warm house. Meanwhile, his owner confirms he is wearing layers to protect his sensitive skin during this rough weather.

Interestingly, he stops for a moment and looks toward the road, seemingly baffled by his luck. At twelve years old, this senior Husky has definitely earned the right to be a bit of a “cranky grandad.” Some commenters joked that his software simply failed to download the part about loving winter. Another pet owner shared that their own Golden Retriever actually hates the water. Basically proving, some breed traits don’t translate to each dog, and that’s absolutely fine.

Anuko just stares ahead, appearing deeply upset by every single snowflake that touches his nose. His expression is truly pure gold to everyone watching. Currently, his family is doing everything to keep him comfortable despite his grumpy demeanor. They even started a GoFundMe to help manage his specialist vet referrals for his fur loss. This is so the Husky can once again enjoy the weather without needing extra layers.

His owner mentioned he was not impressed at all by the walk home in the storm. Here’s hoping his thirteenth year brings plenty of good health and much better walking weather soon.
