Instagram user @mygoldenharvey shared a video of Harvey, a dog with serious “kitchen manager” energy, who wants his mom to make the coffee right. And so, he supervises the whole process with great intent.
Dog becomes mom’s ‘little helper’ when she makes morning latte
In the video, the dog posts up in the kitchen and watches his mom make her morning latte like it’s the most important event of the day. The footage begins with his owner setting up the coffee machine, and then the camera shifts to Harvey, who stands close by and stares at the entire process without missing a beat. Harvey doesn’t bark or get in the way — he just watches closely like a careful student.
In the on-screen text, the owner sums up the dynamic perfectly, writing, “behind every girl making her morning latte…stands her dog observing every step.” The post’s caption explains the scene: “morning brew with my little helper” — and honestly, “helper” feels right — even if Harvey’s main job is moral support and quality control.
