While some fur babies love snow, some try to stay away from the cold sensations. This Instagram video is the perfect example of how a dog reacts when he doesn’t like the chilly weather. An owner records their Staffordshire Bull Terrier, also known as a Staffy, hitting reverse the moment he sees snow. It seems the pooch would have wanted to go outside, so the pet parent opens the door for him. But, as soon as he sees the thick white layers, the pet innocently backs out and goes in the opposite direction.
Staffy goes right back inside the second he touches snow
In a cute and funny dog video on Instagram, an owner captures the moment when their Staffy decides it’s not the day to go out. Named Zeus, the pet seems not to be a fan of snowy weather. The clip begins with an on-screen line, saying, “Tell me you’ve got a Staffy without telling me you’ve got a Staffy.”
It then shows that the owner is opening the door to let Zeus out. The dog puts his front paws on the chilly floor outside and immediately retracts them. Within seconds, he hits reverse and steps back from the door. He notices the snow and might have felt the cold weather. Without making any fuss, Zeus turns around and goes back inside.
Meanwhile, the owner cannot hold their laughter as they dropped laughing emojis in the caption and on the on-video text. Furthermore, viewers have also reacted similarly in the comment section of the dog snow video. Many agreed to the pet parent’s claim that Staffies behave like Zeus when they see snow. However, some mentioned that their fur babies love to play in the icy weather with “snowflakes.”
One user wrote, “In true staffy style the reverse gear kicked in,” while another commented, “Bro was like… Never mind I can hold it.” Moreover, the dog snow video has garnered over 1K likes at the time of writing.
