A determined dog has gone viral for enforcing a particular bedtime rule: if she’s ready for sleep, her human needs to be ready too. A new video captures Panda, a senior Pit Bull, making it clear that she won’t head to bed alone, and viewers everywhere find the routine hilariously relatable.
Dog won’t go to bed until owner does
The clip was shared by @thewhimsypitbullmom, an Instagram account run by Rachael that documents daily life with her dogs. In this particular video, Panda, the Pitt Bull, clearly runs the nighttime schedule. The video opens with the Pittie signaling that it’s time to sleep.
A text overlay reinforces the point with a playful caption that reads, “POV: Your dog wants to go to bed. But it has to be all together.” Panda lies on the sofa and stares down at her owner, silently insisting that bedtime needs to happen now.
Instead of sleeping herself, Panda waits. She watches. She makes a sound, as if checking to make sure her human gets the message. The caption reads, “Panda beauty tip: You don’t stay looking like a puppy by staying up late,” and the dog’s expression sells the advice.
