Video: Husky Reacts After Being Caught During Hide-and-Seek

Sometimes, dogs are absolutely convinced they’ve cracked the code. In Delta’s case, the logic is simple: stand very still behind a white curtain, and you are now invisible. The video, shared by @camphusky, opens on what looks like a quiet dining room in the Pacific Northwest — until you notice a very obvious dog-shaped silhouette pressed against the curtains. There’s even a little Husky snout peeking out, which somehow does not ruin the plan in Delta’s mind. He is hidden. Completely. End of story. Or so he thinks.

As Hailey walks closer, the illusion falls apart almost immediately. Delta keeps his outline perfectly still, committed to the bit, even as the ruse clearly blows his cover. When she finally steps right in front of him, Delta locks eyes with her, and his tail starts going. Not a subtle wag either — the kind that sends ripples through the curtain like a flag in the wind. He doesn’t move from his tiny sliver of “hiding spot,” though. He just stands there, wagging, as if denial might somehow restore invisibility.

It’s such a Husky moment. That mix of confidence, optimism, and total refusal to admit defeat. Known for being clever in their own very specific way, this breed often operates on a logic system that makes perfect sense to them — even when the evidence says otherwise. Delta’s silhouette gives him away instantly, but he seems delighted anyway. Being found is still part of the game.

The caption reads, “Delta loves to play hide and seek!” and we can absolutely see that. He’s not embarrassed. He’s thrilled. The comments echo the same feeling, with viewers calling out his beautiful face and that unstoppable tail wag.

With hundreds of likes, the video is short, sweet, and obviously hilarious. Delta may not have won hide-and-seek, but judging by how happy he is, that was never really the point.
