Bully Is Convinced He’s the ‘Lapdog’ With This Move

A recent video of a huge American Bully shows why “personal space” vanishes around our fur friends. In the reel, a 100-pound sweetheart decides dad’s chest counts as a seat. The pet parent tries logic and laughter. The dog responds with love.

Viewers hear the other pet parent giggle while filming the chaos. Big dogs often don’t realize how big they actually are, and that’s what makes the video even more special.

Bully exerts his ‘lapdog’ privilege on dad in video

The reel comes from the Instagram account lulu_andtuktuk and stars Lulu, an American Bully. It was posted six weeks ago and filmed at home on the living room couch. Dad lies down and opens an arm. Lulu reads that as an invite and climbs aboard. The on-screen text reads “When your 100lb dog thinks he’s a lapdog.” The caption says, “If it fits, I sits.” This video shows Lulu as a cute gentle giant.

American Bullies are affectionate companion dogs. Many act like lapdogs despite their bulk. This helps explain Lulu’s confidence and calm while wedging into place. The woman behind the camera laughs constantly, turning the moment playful. Dad tries a reasoned appeal. “This is not a good idea. Where do you want to go.” Lulu answers by scooting closer.

Beat by beat, Lulu approaches the couch with purpose. He plants a paw, then another, testing the available space. Dad offers forehead kisses and a half-hug. Lulu commits and sinks into the cushions like putty. The pillows compress and dad’s voice goes mock-serious. Lulu sighs, blinks slowly, and settles across his chest. A final shove secures the “seat.” We can hear the lady filming giggle, and she then teases, “Was that necessary?” Lulu looks very pleased with the outcome.

Reactions leaned amused and adoring. One viewer joked, “Dogs and personal space are mutually exclusive.” Another teased, “I see some room, Dad.” A third cooed, “He is just a baby.” Someone gushed, “I LOVE pits… they can’t ever be too close.” Another laughed, “He proved you wrong. There was plenty of room.” Others kept it simple. “He’s beautiful. I love him,” wrote one fan.
