Hugs are great at any time, but puppy hugs just hit different. And when you have a serial hugger in the form of a Golden Retriever, you’re basically living your best life. That’s the reality of Wally’s mom.
In this video shared by @wally.meets.world, we see Wally sitting beside his mom on the couch and then slowly tucking himself into her chest like it’s the most natural thing in the world. Then he breaks into that massive, goofy smile he’s famous for, and his mom kisses him, clearly anticipating more snuggles. Wally’s on the couch, while his mom kneels next to him, and he slowly lifts one paw, puts it on her arm, and leans his whole weight into her like he’s recharging himself with her body heat. Again, there’s this little smile he does, almost bashful, and she gives him scritches that make him sink in even deeper.
Then we’re in the park, sitting on the grass. Here, he flops his head onto her arm, gives a couple of slow blinks, and settles in like it’s the most natural state of being. After that, the hugs start rolling in from every location imaginable — the car, the patio again, the kitchen floor. Each one looks warmer, heavier, more wholesome.
