A dog will teach their parents many things, but patience is the greatest lesson — and a French Bulldog’s Instagram video proves that. User @oso_n_koa shared the clip, sending dog lovers into a frenzy. The video stars BamBam, a French Bulldog with an unmistakably goofy personality, caught in the act of doing what dogs do best: causing mischief the second their humans are not looking.
Dog rolls around in grass when parents aren’t watching
In the video, a camera set by BamBam’s parents captures the dog out in the yard, rolling enthusiastically in the grass. His plan is not to stop anytime soon. The onscreen text reads, “I set up a camera to see what he does when I’m not watching,” showing the pup rolling all over the grass.
“This would normally be adorable BUT,” the text continues, “he just had a bath, and has grass allergies.” BamBam’s owner jokingly adds, “BamBam was apparently put on this earth to teach mom patience… so here we are.”
While the sight of a dog blissfully wiggling in the grass is universal comedy, the irony of his recent bath and his unfortunate allergy to grass is impossible to miss. In the video’s caption, the dog’s parent asks, “Frenchie parents…. Is this a #frenchie thing?!?” They also let the viewers know, “This morning he peed on the porch, and rolled in the mud.”
According to his owner, BamBam is only “7% Frenchie (and looking 100% Frenchie).” Yet he seems to channel the spirit of the breed. As she puts it, “BamBam also has a 100% Frenchie personality.”
Viewers could not get enough of the little troublemaker, with one commenter laughing, “He’s having the time of his life.” While another added, “Patience is highly recommended with Frenchies. And yes, Bam def has a Frenchie personality lol.” Many fellow French Bulldog parents chimed in with their own stories, confirming it is absolutely “a Frenchie thing.”
The video proves that one thing is for sure — BamBam knows how to make every moment his own.
