Video: Beagle Uses Her Freedom to ‘Dictate’ Big Brother Around

If you’ve ever watched two siblings fight over absolutely nothing, you’ll get this one immediately. The video of the Beagles shared by @cabeagles on Instagram opens with Cooper — calm, long-suffering, probably wondering how he got here — being yanked around by his tiny sister, Chloe.

The puppy’s got that sparkle in her eyes that says “I’m in charge now,” and honestly, there’s not much Cooper can do about it. The in-video text nails it: “When your little sister gets one ounce of freedom and becomes a dictator.” It’s probably relatable to a lot of older siblings, canine or otherwise.

Beagle drags big brother around by holding his leash in video

The video of the Beagles already has over 6.3K likes, and for good reason. Anyone who’s ever met the dog breed knows they’re basically walking bundles of determination, and little Chloe is the perfect example.

She’s got her brother’s leash in her mouth and an agenda. Cooper tries to turn around and go the other way — a small, polite rebellion. But then comes that dramatic tug. You can almost hear him sigh as he gives in and follows her like a man defeated by love, or maybe just puppy persistence.

He makes one last stand, turning around and sitting down, pleading with his eyes to his human for help. Chloe isn’t having any of his stalling. She takes him by the leash straight to the couch, then ambles up onto the couch herself.

Cooper pauses, looks at his human again for help, before finally climbing up too. He’s not thrilled, but he’s loyal. Chloe, meanwhile, looks so pleased with herself that you can practically hear her inner monologue: “I told you I’m the boss.”

The comments section gets it — full of “power-hungry little sister” jokes and knowing laughter. One viewer even voiced Chloe’s thoughts, “Come with me, come with me, it’s better over here, I promise.” That might be it, but it’s also sibling energy in its purest form: one leading, one humoring, both absolutely inseparable.
