Video: ‘Ringbearer’ Samoyed Wreaks Havoc at Owners’ Wedding

Some wedding memories are made of picture-perfect vows and slow dances. Others — like this one, posted on Instagram @wanderlust_samoyed — are made of fur, chaos, and a dog named Felix. In the opening shot, Felix, the Samoyed, sits grinning behind his parents’ hands, proudly showing off their wedding rings like he totally nailed his job. Except… he didn’t. Because when it came time to walk down the aisle with the rings, our fluffy protagonist had other plans. Felix sure did make the day unforgettable, and also proved, as his humans captioned it, “Never trust a Samoyed haha.”

More than 50,000 people have already liked the post. It’s that cute. Just after we see Felix and his parents’ opening shot, the reel rewinds to the “incident.” Felix — all white fur and tail wagging is meant to walk down the aisle with a tiny ring basket around his neck. All okay, so far.

But just before he takes his first step, something in his brain clearly says, Nope, too many people staring. And he bolts. The camera zooms in as the words “Gud Bye” flash on screen, capturing him zipping past the rows of seated guests like he’s in a rom-com chase scene.

He reappears moments later, coming around from behind the crowd as if nothing had happened. “What’s up,” reads the text, as Felix takes in the scenery, clearly appreciating the view more than his job. When he finally reaches his parents, he pauses for pets, lets them grab the rings… then cheerfully takes off again. His final bark? Basically, “Ok, I leave.”

The comments are full of people celebrating his comedic timing. One person wrote, “Felix said ‘I now pronounce myself OUT’.” Another commented, “I mean the route instructions were not super clear.”

Yet another viewer summed it up, “Who needs a best man when you have a best boy?” And it couldn’t be more apt. Mischievous yet impossibly charming, Felix may have flunked his duties — but he definitely stole the show.
