Video Proves ‘Adopted Supermutt’ Puppy Was Raised by a Husky Sibling

Some pups can quickly pick up habits from those around them — especially when they grow up side by side with a furry sibling. That’s exactly what happened with Smuckers, an adopted “supermutt” puppy who quickly learned the ropes of dog life from her older brother Levi, a handsome Husky, as captured in this video.

Watching them together in this Instagram Reel, you’ll know exactly who’s teaching whom. Right from their dramatic vocals to their playful antics, Smuckers has clearly decided that if Levi does it, she’s doing it too — and the results are just too perfect not to share.

Owner documents ‘supermutt’ puppy replicating Husky sibling’s behavior in video

It’s no surprise this video has become so popular. The clip is a montage of two dogs, Levi and his younger sister, Smuckers. The onscreen text says, “Adopted a supermutt…ended up with a superhusky.”

The video then shows all the ways Smuckers is learning from her brother. The first thing she learned was how to howl. We see them both howling together in the living room. The puppy has her head raised to the sky, howling in sync with Levi.

Next, she learned all one needs to know about “snow zoomies.” We see Levi leaping gracefully through the snow in slow motion. This is followed by a clip of Smuckers also galloping through the snow.

She’s also learned digging from him. When Levi digs, Smuckers does the same. Neither is short on attitude as well. The clip shows the Husky being very vocal about his displeasure. Then, we see the pup mirroring her brother.

Even Levi’s occasional rebellious streak seems to have rubbed off — because Smuckers has her own escape story to tell, complete with her human carrying her back home.

The bond between these two canines clearly resonated with people, earning over 8K likes. One person wrote in the comments section, “You think you got Levi a sister, instead you got Levi a minion.” Another wrote, “Hahaha Levi has to be so proud.” A user joked, “She identifies as Husky.” This adopted puppy may be a supermutt, but her heart (and howl) is pure Husky.
