Video: Labrador Demands Food, but Not in the Way You’re Used to Seeing Them Do

Dogs can go to great lengths to beg for food, even if they have just finished their meal. We have often seen canines throwing tantrums or sulking to meet their need for treats. A viral post on social media focuses on a pup’s never-before-seen method to beg for treats. The video focuses on the Labrador’s unique way of asking for food that will surely leave you in stitches.

Labrador displays unusual skill with his bowl when it’s time for food

On July 29, a user, @mavtheblacklabrador, took to Instagram to share a heartwarming Reel of their dog named Maverick. The page focuses on the pup’s endless shenanigans, from his car rides to energetic beach walks. In the video, the Labrador is seen coming up with a unique way to ask for food from his owner.

The clip sees the dog holding his bowl in his mouth. Furthermore, he starts shaking it continuously, likely biting on it and loving the sound it makes. Maverick keeps shaking the bowl up and down to communicate to his mom that he is hungry.

The pup has brought the bowl closer to his human and keeps staring at her to drop some delicious treats in it. The owner is taken aback by her pet’s adorable antics and seemingly giggles at his technique. Meanwhile, Maverick keeps shaking the bowl to get his hands on his meal.

The caption of the hilarious post reads, “Do you think if I do this, they’ll feed me???” Dogs can come up with some of the most unique ways to ask for food. They often get restless during their mealtime and resort to throwing tantrums if their food isn’t on time. For instance, this Golden Retriever isn’t having it when he was made to wait for his pup cup in this video.

At the time of writing, the Lab’s video has garnered more than 66K likes and 24K shares. Netizens also shared their reaction in the comment section, with one writing, “I feel a hit is coming! Give this doggo some backup musicians!” Another stated, “He hungry… SO FEED HIM BEFORE HE STARVED!!” A viewer gushed over Maverick, “He’s precious.”
