Video: Golden Retrievers Alert Owner of ‘Intruder’ but It’s Not Who You Think It Might Be

These two Golden Retrievers were diligently guarding the house and barking to alert about intruders (at least that’s what the owners thought initially) when the pet parents found out the thing they were barking at, leaving them in splits. The hilarious video of the canine duo and their intruder alert is just another proof that with Golden Retrievers as pets, anything is possible.

Owner realizes Golden Retrievers’ ‘intruder’ alert was for a ‘scary hose’ in video

This owner was one proud pet parent when they thought their Golden Retrievers, Lola and Luca, alerted them about an intruder. But soon, they discovered the thing their fur babies were barking at. The paw parents made sure to upload the video on @ourlovinglola to show how brave their security team is.

The clip shows Lola and Luca guarding the house when they started barking loudly. The dog mom thought the pups were “alerting” her “about an intruder.” So, she “ran out to check what it was.” However, there was no intruder. It was, in fact, the “big scary hose on the wall” that the canines were “borking at.”

The sight left their human friend in stitches. Looking at how efficient their pooches were, the pet parent suggested to the netizens that Lola and Luca are “Best in the biz, call 1800-GOLDEN for all your security needs.” And one pet lover was ready to avail their services, saying, “Elite security team on duty: no intruder too small, no hose too suspicious 10/10 would hire!” while another person agreed, mentioning, “The best security.”

This video of the Golden Retrievers and the intruder also tickled the funny bones of many social media users. They gathered to leave sweet comments about the pooches. One individual wrote, “It’s funny how they notice all the changes around the house.” Meanwhile, another user commented, “It’s always something so random that they bark at.”
