On December 12, 2024, user @it_is_a_pancake_life took to their Instagram to share an adorable reel of their canine named Pancake. From meeting a dolphin to paddleboarding, the profile shows the fun-loving adventures of the pup along with his fluffy brother, Donut. In the aforementioned video, the Golden Retriever is seen trying ice skating for the first time, which does not go as planned. However, the paw parent goes gaga over his experience and writes in the caption, “Pancake ice skating is such a mood.”
The reel begins with the dog mom unhooking Pancake’s leash as he is excited to make his debut in ice skating. He then runs to the rink with many pooches around, including fellow Goldens. But things turn upside down for Pancake as he ends up slipping on the rink. He tries getting up but finds himself imbalanced on the cold ground.
As such, the pooch keeps rolling on the ice, trying his best to go ice skating. He continues to act restless and barks, seeing the other canines easily running around. Additionally, a woman captures Pancake’s rolling moments, who looks absolutely adorable in his ice-skating attempts. He also tries licking the ice rink, which is bound to leave anyone in splits. In the end, a mascot approaches the fur baby in the same position, and he finally stands up and runs away.
