In a funny dog video on Instagram, an owner of two Corgis creates a hilarious clip in which he describes the pets’ swimming session. Filled with sarcasm and humor, he comments on their petite body structure and how it helps the canines to swim.

The Instagram Reel begins with two Corgis diving into a pool while the pet parent narrates. He says that the pups are not the creatures “one expects to find in water.” As the camera focuses on a dog’s adorable face as he swims, the narrator compares the canine to a “loaf.”

The owner adds that the secret behind the dog that “floats” is the “hindquarters.” He describes those as “buoyant, fluffy, and oddly well-suited for aquatic life.” Next, he drops a funny comparison, saying the dogs are “like a marshmallow with propulsion.”

Furthermore, the pet parent elaborates that a Corgi swimming with a tiny body structure may not be “elegant” but is highly “effective.” “Nature, once again, has a sense of humor,” he concludes. The video of the Corgis swimming is especially hilarious because of the owner’s tonality, which sounds like a commentator from a wildlife show.

Viewers also thoroughly enjoyed the video. They called the owner “a genius” for the funny script. A user commented, “Paid internet just to watch this masterpiece.” Another said, “Forget shark week, Discovery needs to do a corgi week!”

Many left laughing emojis in the comments section and also called the dogs “cute.” One individual wrote, “They look like cute little tugboats.. sooo adorable.” At the time of writing, the Instagram Reel has received over 205K likes.
