Pet parents will go to wild lengths for their animals, from baking homemade birthday cakes to booking doggie spa days. However, Emma and Corey Moriarty of Florida took things one step further when they realized their Siberian Husky, Titan, had developed a serious attachment to Pluto, the Disney dog. Unable to take him to the Magic Kingdom, they decided to stage a magical encounter of their own, as shown in a new video.
Owner arranges for Husky to meet favorite Disney character Pluto in video
Titan, a Siberian Husky, has a well-documented obsession with Pluto, the beloved Disney character from the Mickey Mouse universe. His affection is so strong that he’s often spotted lounging around the house with his beloved Pluto plush toy tucked under his paws. Knowing how much Pluto means to him, his owners, Emma and Corey Moriarty, decided to give him the ultimate surprise.
Titan couldn’t make the trip to Disney World. So, Corey came up with the idea of dressing up and becoming Pluto for the day. The video, shared on @imbluethesiberian, shows Corey carrying in the life-sized Pluto costume. Moments later, “Pluto” sits on the couch, waiting for Titan’s entrance.
When the Husky spots his oversized idol, his first reaction is curiosity mixed with disbelief. He glances back at Emma, as if to ask if what he’s seeing is real. Then, slowly but surely, he approaches and begins sniffing and inspecting the costumed figure. Corey stays perfectly still until, with a sudden movement, he reveals that Pluto is alive and can talk.
The moment of surprise quickly shifts into excitement. Titan’s tail starts wagging furiously, and he leans in to hug his life-sized friend. He even tries to cuddle with “Pluto” the same way he does with his plush version. Corey, still in character, hugs Titan back and gives him gentle pets. The two share several minutes of pure affection, with the canine climbing into Pluto’s lap and clearly not wanting the moment to end.
The video’s charm wasn’t lost on viewers, who poured into the comments with love. One person said, “It’s clear that Titan loves Pluto a lot… The way he put his arms on Pluto…” Someone else joked, “Corey might need to open his own park,” imagining a Disney-for-dogs experience. Another wrote what many were thinking: “Every dog in the world should be loved and treated like you do with yours.”
