Instagram video shows rescue puppy gathering courage to face lizard
Cactus, the rescue puppy, is melting hearts again as he works on being brave enough to face lizards in a recent video. The canine’s loving dad, Mike Brown, has been capturing his encounters with the reptile. His human shared in the clip that Cactus gets “so excited to look for lizards.”
However, the adorable pup is also “terrified” of them. The candid video showcased the same as the rescue puppy got excited and was “begging to go outside” when he spotted a lizard in the backyard again.
Although Cactus was anticipating the encounter, he was quite scared after Brown let him out. The pup’s dad shared that “every little sound or movement made him jump.” The Instagram Reel showed the rescue staying on alert while looking for the lizard in the bushes. Brown shared that despite that, the furbaby “loved every minute of it.” The dog dad added, “He wants to be brave, but he’s still working on it.”
Later, Brown comforted Cactus and told him that it would get “easier one day” for him to get close to a lizard. Meanwhile, the Instagram Reel has been warming hearts and has racked up over 325K views at the time of writing. Several users took to the comments section to gush over Cactus “always trying to make” new friends, while others found the puppy’s curiosity adorable.
