Food is a serious business for dogs. You can’t miss their mealtime, nor can you enjoy your supper in peace with the fur babies around. You have to give them their share. And this dog mom has captured the struggle of eating food alone as her Vizslas beg for food every time she is at the table for her meal. Soon after the upload, the clip caught every dog lover’s attention as they found the Vizsla and the food video relatable, fetching more than 12K likes at the time of writing.
Instagram video shows Vizslas will do anything to beg for food
While many dogs bark at their owners for food or look at them with puppy eyes, these Vizslas named Chicken and Waffles do something unique. They give “Armpit Surprise” to their pet parents and beg for food.
The video, uploaded by @waffles_the_vizsla, shows the brown fur babies “nose and/or head” suddenly appearing “under one’s armpit” before taking out pleading voices as a trick to get food. The fur babies’ strange behavior even left the dog mom surprised.
She mentions in the video that such behavior “typically occurs at mealtimes, but can occur at any opportunity when food is being consumed by a human.” And it’s true. At various points in the clip, Chicken and Waffle are seen around their pet parent begging for rice or sweet treats, which their hooman friend is enjoying all alone. The canines make sure to use their vocal cords to convey their displeasure and ask for their share as well.
The video of Vizsla and their art of begging for food made many pet lovers emotional. Many took to Instagram to speak out for the pups.
