Video: Dachshund Is Way Too Relaxed During Bath Time

You know you have an absolute angel for a fur baby when bath time doesn’t turn into a battleground. Let’s say that our four-legged companions don’t consider getting squeaky clean as their favorite activity, and clearly dislike any routine that involves soap and shampoo. On the other hand, swimming and playing in puddles might be their favorite. But this dog owner documented a video of their Dachshund looking relaxed in the bath, proving that not all pooches are menaces when it’s shower time.

Dachshund’s bath time behavior is every pet parent’s dream

No matter how hard you try or spoil them with treats, you cannot get your furry baby to be on their best behavior when it’s time to shower. Getting your floof to remain calm in the bathroom is perhaps the most difficult part about becoming a pet parent. The tiled floors often turn into a wrestling zone, while a war breaks out between the owners and the pet. But contrary to that belief, a video of this little guy, a Dachshund named Dave, proved he’s on his absolute best behavior in the bath.

The adorable Instagram post showed how the good boy’s bath time habits are every pet parent’s dream. Unfortunately, not everyone can have it all. In the clip, Dave appeared to be soaked in a bathtub filled with soapy water. While most of his small body was completely under water as part of his relaxing shower routine, his face and a part of his back popped out. Moreover, the pooch appeared completely calm, content, and at ease, showing no signs or intentions of shampoo showdowns.

Something that stood out the most in the Dachshund’s bath time video was the tiny bubbles that emerged from the soapy water. One commenter hilariously pointed out the details, writing, “The fart bubbling through the water.” A few other commenters made similar and comical observations about the bubbles at the end. Meanwhile, one more user stated that Dave remained “so calm,” sharing how their pet would never behave the same.
