Charlie, a Golden Retriever, has touched hearts after a recent video captured him in a vulnerable moment when he needed some extra love. The adorable fur baby’s momma was quick to catch the reason behind his wanting more attention than usual, as they had returned from a long trip. The video showed Charlie sitting in front of his human, looking at them and seemingly making a request.
The owner noted that dogs are “expressing a need or a desire” when they make eye contact with their human. Charlie’s momma continued to ask what he needed. This is when the canine put his paw in his owner’s hand. The mama further explained that the Golden Retriever was “needing some extra reassurance that he is loved.” Charlie also wanted to be assured that his family was “not going to leave him again.”
