Olive isn’t your typical pup. The black Labrador is seen in the Instagram video sitting peacefully on a patio table outside and gazing up at the sky. Her gaze focuses on a plane that is about to land, and she tilts her head to maintain eye contact. Olive, determined not to miss a second, turns around as the plane passes over the sky.
Olive isn’t the only pup who has this hobby, as per the comments. One commenter shared, “We live near the airport. Once a week my dog (re)notices the plane and stops walking to watch.” Another said, “Omg get the flight tracker app so you can tell her where they are coming from.” Someone else added, “Plane spotting dog before GTA6,” referencing the long-running GTA VI meme online. We can’t quite say what it is about airplanes that grabs Olive’s attention. It’s probably the sound, the movement, or just her instincts kicking in.
