Video of Dog Accidentally Photobombing a Group of Strangers Goes Viral

You never really know what to expect when taking a group photo in public. Strangers passing by, waves, wind, and sometimes… a Labrador. A now-viral video captured one dog’s adorable and totally unplanned photobomb of a group of strangers, and it’s quickly become everyone’s favorite kind of chaos.

Labrador cutely photobombs a group of strangers and then runs back to owner

Rosy the Labrador may have no idea she’s gone viral, but her latest beachside adventure has turned her into a bit of a star. In the video, Rosy is trotting up to a group of strangers who appear to be posing for a photo. Dressed in matching white outfits (possibly as part of a coordinated group shoot or family photo), the group is lined up and smiling when Rosy casually strolls into the shot and sits right in front, as if she belongs.

The strangers seem pleasantly surprised, and instead of shooing her away, some even laugh and smile, clearly entertained by the unexpected addition to their group. The on-screen caption reads: “POV: Rosy trying to photobomb a group picture. (We don’t know them).” After soaking up her moment in the spotlight, Rosy quickly turns and trots back to her owner. The pup seems completely unaware that she just became the highlight of someone else’s vacation photos.

The clip quickly took off, gaining over 11 million views and 1.6 million likes on Instagram alone. On TikTok, the same dog photobomb video racked up 14 million views, with thousands of comments pouring in. “She’s a part of that family now,” one person joked. Another wrote, “They just got photobombed by a celebrity, they should be thanking you.” Others pointed out how Rosy made the moment even better. One commenter said, “She made the photographer’s job easier by bringing the biggest smiles to their faces.”

For all we know, Rosy thought the group needed a little more personality in their picture, and she delivered.
