Video: Owner Reveals ‘Many Different Faces’ of a Border Collie

Canines are known to surprise their humans with their shenanigans. However, the most surprising and hilarious instance is when they end up becoming the king or queen of expressions. A recent viral video showcases a Border Collie showcasing his “many different faces” to his owner. The dog’s ability to change his facial expressions makes him no less than a seasoned actor.

Border Collie shows off different faces for different moods

On July 2, a user, @curedbydogs, took to Instagram to share a never-before-seen reel of their dog named Auzzy. The profile created by the pet parent, Elle Mchale, is dedicated to her precious memories with her pup. In an Instagram Reel, she documents her furry companion’s many expressions.

In the viral video, the owner is surprised to see her Border Collie’s talent to pull off numerous facial expressions. She expresses her feelings in the caption, “I have never met a more expressive breed… I think he’s part human.” Mchale adds, “He has a different face for every mood – he doesn’t need words to tell me how he’s feeling, I can tell just by looking at him.”

In another Instagram Reel, the pet parent decides to rate the furbaby’s feelings based on his facial expressions. In the first clip, we have a suspicious expression that ends up getting a 2/10. The very anxious face gets a zero, while the cute post-walk look receives an 11/10. Then, the “I left without him” again gets a zero, while “watching his human sheep” gets a 10/10. The next one is the bored expression that gets just one point. Finally, the dog’s needy face gets a 5/10.

Additionally, the dog mom mentions in the caption that “most of the time he looks sad, depressed, and neglected.” However, “in reality he’s the most spoiled dog alive.” The owner concludes, “I think that’s just him judging my every move,” asking her viewers if their “border collie changes moods like it’s their job?”
