On June 18, a user, @lifewithgoldenshepherds, took to Instagram to share an adorable clip of a dog named Bear. The account is dedicated to sharing the adventures and favorite products of two rescues, Bear and Nala. In the viral video, the Golden Shepherd tries to become a Golden Retriever for a day. His owner expresses that this is “what living with Golden Shepherd is like.”
The clip begins with the pet parent entering the kitchen to check on the oven and realizing it’s hot. They find Bear sleeping near the oven and ask him politely to move. However, the pup has other plans and doesn’t listen to his owner.
The dog dad jokes that the pup “is choosing to be a Golden Retriever” for the day. He keeps shaking the canine to move, and Bear finally opens his eyes. However, the Golden Shepherd goes back to sleep again after staring at his dad for a bit.
The pet parent keeps requesting the furbaby to move aside, but Bear refuses to pay any heed. He also exclaims in the caption, “Oh boy.. no pathways are clear in our house with that one!” At last, the pup listens to his owner, who heaves a sigh of relief. Bear’s cute rebellion totally reflects Golden Retriever energy, who are known to act really stubborn at times.
