Video: Dog Tries To Keep Owner in Check After They Laugh Too Loud

A Cavachon pup named Ruby is being loved by the netizens. Why? For keeping her owners in check for laughing too loudly. Yes, it is usually the other way around, where parents try to maintain decorum in the house. However, in this household, it’s this white furry canine who runs a tight ship. The following hilarious Instagram dog video, @rubudooboo, will surely leave you laughing. The viral clip has more than 52K likes at the time of writing.

Instagram video shows dog demanding ‘decorum’ in the house

Laughing is good for health, but laughing too loudly may not sit well with everyone in the house, especially with a “Karen” living with you. Something similar happened with this pet owner who was laughing too loudly with her friend in the house. While no one had any issues with the loud giggles, their Cavachon pup, Ruby, did not like the noise. And the “bilingual senior citizen who runs” their household expressed her displeasure in the best way possible.

With an angry face and eyebrows, the funny video of @rubudooboo shows Ruby staring down at the hooman friends. It seems like with a stern face, she is saying, “Let’s please have some decorum, people.” Looking at the pup’s death stare, the pet parents immediately say “sorry” while asking if she is the “police.” The owner also asked why they couldn’t “have some fun?” Despite all the questions, the “resident Karen” does not move or bark; she just gives little stomps, which makes the pet parents laugh, but this time in low voices, showing how effective Ruby’s gaze is.

The Instagram video of the dog coming to check on her pet parents for laughing too loud left many netizens smiling. One of the users mentioned, “She clearly has already told u what volume of laughter is allowed and ur not listening.” While another commented, “omg she looks so angy.” Another person wrote, “I’ve never seen a dog look more like an old why lady in my life.”
