The dog diligently wakes up from her nap to follow her mom to the puppy room, where she promptly feeds them before they head back to sleep.
Instagram video shows how dog feeds her puppies in the middle of the night
An Instagram video of a mom dog feeding her puppies has now gone viral, with the cuteness of it all melting the hearts of many on the internet. It begins with the Bulldog, Harley, waking up from her sleep when her owner asks, “Are you ready to feed the puppies?” The canine got a good stretch in before getting on with her mama duties.
In the following clip, Harley can be seen strutting into the puppy room, promptly making her way to her puppies. The owner helps position the little ones to ensure everybody gets an opportunity to drink their fill before the mama dog heads back. The video also provides close-ups of all three puppies as they get their fix of milk.
The little ones’ aunt, Luna, accompanies Harley the entire way for the late-night feeding session. She patiently waits for her outside the area where the puppies are staying. The in-video text jokingly emphasized, “Not the father.” In a previous video, the owner quipped that the canine is “tired of comments insinuating she is a deadbeat dad.”
In a touching moment, the owner even held Harley’s paw as she fed her puppies. Once they were done drinking, the pet parent removed the three of them and placed them under their heat lamp. In addition, one of them adorably rolled over as soon as she placed them on their mat, taking the owner by surprise.
Netizens couldn’t help but praise the Bulldog for being “such a good mama.” One of them wrote, “A single mom that works too hard who loves her kids and never stops.” A user also joked, “The brown one is about to pop and still looking for more.”
