For pet parents, the pain of losing a furry baby cuts deep, especially if they have spent a significant part of their lives together. In an Instagram tribute, Snoop Dogg opened up about the depth of his sadness as he mourned his dog. He dropped a clip of one of their many car rides around town in the post as he recalled the treasured memory.

The video showed the French Bulldog, Juelz, being an ideal passenger princess while the rapper drove the car through the streets. In the caption, he bid a final farewell to his longtime friend, “Rip @juelzbroadus.” He also thanked Wiz Khalifa for bringing them together in 2014. Khalifa reportedly gifted the pup to him in 2014 for his birthday.

Snoop’s post saw an outpouring of tribute comments from Instagram users. There was one who wrote, “10 years for a frenchie is amazing.” The commenter was further willing to bet that Juelz likely “had the dopest life.” A second user wished that “dogs could live forever,” while a third, overly emotional individual claimed they knew “of him since he was a baby.” They also asserted that “ALL DOGGS GO TO HEAVEN.”

Later, Snoop Dogg shared a follow-up post for Juelz, a montage of the dog’s memories over the years. The post was soundtracked to Khalifa’s ultimate goodbye song, “See You Again,” featuring Charlie Puth. It first featured in Furious 7. In the caption, he wrote how much he missed his late friend.
